Decisions

I've always been a shoe person. I've always been a shoe person who appreciated bags... I mean bags are great and all, but shoes are like architecture. I suppose you could compare it to the men/bums/boobs 'debate'...

I digress.

There was a point somewhere...

For the last three weeks I've been wearing a plain black tote bag (that I was given at fashion week, to add to my shame) as a make-shift 'sac', because I decided I HATE all my bags. Daniella said I should say I was 'making a statement... you know like a hipster' if I was asked about it- love her!
I've decided that next year I'll buy a new bag. I'm thinking of an investment piece, so out go faddish Alexander Wang type blogger's delight bags, anything over studded/zippered, or just generally overdone. Naturally a girl can dream about this,*swoons* and who wouldn't mind this, but I'm thinking something big, black and classic. I've narrowed it down to these, which are still going strong having been around for a few years:


Balenciaga Giant First


Balenciaga City



Mulberry Patent Bayswater




Thoughts (or suggestions)?

    The Balenciaga first is rather small. So not a good option if you usually carry a lot of stuff with you. The Mulberry bag is a classic, but I don't really like the patent leather or the design. I would go for the Bal city. Classic, but still a bit edgy. Goes with everything :)

    ^No, giant first but thanks for tip, lol. I thought the same about patent, but I'm not 100% sold on the leather Bayswaters.

    Ah I see. I thought 'giant' referred to the giant hardware and not the size.

    Hmmm, the 1st one appeals the most but I'm not crazy about any of them (for the money) tbh. I see you with something a bit funkier (although still classic) - maybe Miu Miu or Marc Jacobs. Will have a surf and see if I can find a pic of what I think is really you. xxx

    ^ @WeShop- I actually thought about a miu miu matelasse! Marc jacobs has never been my bag (geddit?) Ok, that was crap!

    I would go for the black city. It's the ultimate bag, would go with everything and can wear dressed up and down. The first is a smaller bag, the giant refers to the silver hardware. You can get the city with giant hardware but the studs are quite a lot bigger than on the first. Looking forward to seeing which one you go for :)
