The concept was ‘versatile fashion’; items that double up and make your money go even further. If you know me (and my shopping habits) you'll know that this was pretty easy- here are my picks:
1. Classic denim shorts:
Wear with anything and everything; dress down with sandals, dress up with wedges
2. Sheer shirts:
Perfect piece for layering; best worn over long line bras
3. Loose low cut vests:
Simple and chic, best worn just above bra lines, tucked into jeans.
4. Double-up swimwear:
wear on the beach, or tucked into anything high waisted (add a shirt for the more figure conscious).
5. Denim Dungarees:
Perfect 80's throwback- cool statement piece, wear over a crop top.
6. Lightweight maxi dresses:
Versatile, easy to wear item; add a cardie and wear into your AW wardrobe.
7. Playsuits:
Non-fussy alternative to wearing two pieces
8. Oversized/Boyfriend Shirts:
This one in particular incorporates denim, another key SS10 trend. Another versatile piece, that can be worn over under or as a dress with a belt (the larger you buy).
...And my number one pick:
Flares:
This pair in particular are my faves because of their lightweight material and floral design, a la SS10 Erdem.
A nice change from jeans, although denim Farah Fawcett style flares are also a great summer look
