Highlights at H.PR AW12

Press month started last week and one of my favourite boutique pr's to visit is H.PR; boasting clients such as Sophie Gittens, CO|TE and TBA.
Highlights of the day were Liz Black's warrior influenced 'super heroine chic' pieces; with leather peplum jackets and perforated cropped armour-like vests. Coit's sheepskin jackets and faux-metal/liquid shirts were also a love, as were Sophie Gittens' Wang-like heeled loafers. I was introduced to Kyle Hopkins 'body parts' jewellery. I'd never heard of Hopkins before, but the rings pictured are personalised with finger prints, and a lot of his collection was moulded from his sisters anatomy!
Top of my list was Paul & Joe, which I had been dreaming about since their runway show! As you know I'm a print aficionado, and whilst a plethora of print was present, this collection definitely had a more grown up and streamlined vibe. Whilst florals and animal prints adorned pyjamas and ditsy feminine pieces, they were toughened up by masculine tailored key pieces such as the recurring flared trouser <3. Also a big fan of TBA's new direction this AW, moving away from overtly feminine pieces and into more structured  and chic territory, reminiscent of Carven.
The last shot is almost novelty, as the gorgeous Charlie May has just joined the agency! I had to take the customary shot of her, standing with her amazing collection (much to her embarrassment)!

  1. Amazing! I was so sad not to be able to make HPR's press day! Everything looks gorgeous. Very curious about TBA's new direction...

I met Kyle Hopkins during LFW and was totally floored by his AMAZING jewelry. I'm so excited to hear Harriet has taken him on... AND CHARLIE MAY. Oh my gosh. It's all too good and too exciting.

Love getting a peek at what's happening at press days through your photos! More please! xx

  4. I really like the print that is used to make the pyjama shirt. I am now officially sold by the pyjama top now, when they were first out i thought it was a look i cud never really pull off but i think they are now becoming more wearble, or just because i've seen so many people in them that they have become more appealing. The question i am toying with now though is, should i buy a pyjama style top or just a pyjama top. Topshop has this amazing white (v.cooco chanel esque) sil pyjama shirt but BHS has the same one (only it's an actual pyjama top)!
