At Tusting

 Tusting factory, Bedford

A couple of weeks ago a few bloggers and I visited English heritage leather brand Tusting, for a tour of their Bedforshire countryside factory. Being a never-been-camping-festival-without-the-mud sort of girl it was definitely an experience for me escaping London and venturing into a town with neighbouring villages approximating around 1000 people.
Tusting, who predominantly produce luggage, are a fifth generation family owned leather brand dating back to the 19th century; providing leather accessories for other well known heritage brands such as Church's. Recently partnering with Richard Nicoll and Vodafone on his AW collection, they created the limited edition 'Kimbolton' handbag that charges your phone- the perfect accessory for any fashion aficionado!

After touring the factory we all headed down to one of the village locals for a pub lunch, and got the opportunity to design our own clutch bags. I chose leather with suede detailing; and I'll show you when it arrives in a few weeks- yay!

Jack French London Bloggers Lunch

A few weeks ago I sat down to an intimate old English pub lunch at The Punchbowl (guy Richie's boozer) for a sneak peak at Jack French London's AW12 handbag collection. Jack, who started his brand just last November and previously designed for high fashion brands such as Jimmy Choo, wanted to design accessories that were affordable (all under the £200 price point) for women of all ages. How cute is my new fringed bag that I picked up? <3 
On a more personal note Jack is one of the most approachable and funniest designers I have ever met- total BABE! Check out the full collection here.

Company Style Awards: WIW

So I didn't win anything. Although honestly I should have won every category (even the one's I wasn't nominated in!)... sore loser, moi?

Kidding!

The awards were great, and I did end up fashioned a la Phillip Lim- thanks My-Wardrobe!

In good company

A little while back I did a shoot for Company Magazine's High Street Edit (the mag's sassy sister) on wearing this season's tends.
So anyway, here's me on sheers, sportswear, being 25* (lols) and generally looking like a superhero:

Speaking of Company Magazine, tonight they're hosting their style blogger awards, which I've been nominated in three, yes THREE** categories for. Booyah!

I'm probably the worst blogger anyway because I didn't even post a voting link on my blog, so we'll see how I fair, lol. Anyway I'm going through outfit options as I type, but the below from Phillip Lim (courtesy of My-Wardrobe) is probably the winner.

Last Night at Burberry Brit x Dazed Digital Party

 (Crop Top: Vintage, Skirt: Topshop, Shoes: Prada)

Not too sure what was going on at this shindig... there was alcohol.... there was a party.

I did however learn that my necessities are cigs and my blackberry, when I coat checked my bag, failing to take my cash/card/driving license/keys/bus pass with me.

There were models, skinny girls in Margiela and mini burgers. Not much to complain about!

How babeish are Charlie (and her Acne Agate's) and Lexxie (in Christopher Kane & Kirkwood) too <3

Babes at the Burbs

Last night at the Burberry Brit store launch party....

Too many hot model boys to mention... stalked way too many model boys to mention... Life in Film... Lily Donaldson and Julia Restoin-Roitfield (fyi the most stunning people IRL)....Champagne on Tap... Loves... 

Drank wayyyyy too much champagne (and ate 5 mini burgers)* to block out my sorrows at being swamped by all the 5'11's.

Soooooo good.

Furla 'Candy Bag' Event

Last night at the Furla 'Candy Bag' event hosted by Susie Bubble & my friend Kit Lee (on behalf of Shini Park). I
was actually surprised at just how good the bags were. I committed to the market bag, but if I had known how thick and durable Furla's take on the pop colour rubber/acetate trend would be, I probably would have bought one (especially because they RRP for only £170!)
